We wish to express our gratitude to all the colleagues who attended our National Conference on Effective Transitions in Adult Education that took place on November 17-18, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Providence, RI. The two-day conference focused on strategies and promising practices that help adult learners succeed in postsecondary education and training.
