Effective January 1, 2007

• All candidates wishing to take the GED Examination must pass the Official 2002-Series Practice Test with an overall score of 2250 and a minimum of 410 on each of the five tests in the battery. Proof of passing scores must be presented at the time of registration for the GED Exam.
  
  

• The fees* for services will be as follows:
  

    Full GED Exam …………………………$50.00

    Partial Test (per test) ………….…$10.00

Failure to appear for scheduled Practice Test...$25.00

Failure to appear fo scheduled Full Examination without 48 hours 

    (business days) notice to GED Testing Center will result in forfeiture

     of $50.00 Examination fee.

*Fees are non-transferable, non-refundable and payable by cash or money order only.

Candidates must present all required documentation (e.g., a valid, government issued photo ID, proof  of residency in the District of Columbia, the GED Exam application, proof of passing Practice Test scores and appropriate fee at least seven (7) days prior to the desired exam date.
